Event raises funds to support Women’s Rights across Europe
[Brussels, 19 April 2013] After the successful event to launch the Turkish Connections Platform and raise funds to support the European Women’s Lobby (EWL), we are grateful and pleased to announce that over 1,800€ was raised to help secure and promote women’s rights and gender equality across Europe. The funds raised will go towards supporting the very first European Political Mentoring Network, supporting migrant and ethnic minority women to run for the European Parliamentary elections.
The Turkish Connections Platform is an independent, non-profit civil society initiative in Belgium that aims to increase cooperation and dialogue among professionals interested in Turkey. http://turkish-connections.eu/
