“Partners for Prevention of Gender-Based Violence” has publicised several reports, discussion papers and articles on the subject of violence against women. The main goal is to identify effective means of preventing violence against women such as policy recommendations for more effective gender based violence prevention. This is done by exploring possible links between masculinity, gender, and domestic violence as well as deepening the understanding of male attitudes and perceptions on gender based violence.
Additionally, some of the publications are results of surveys conducted in Asia on male attitudes regarding gender women. One survey found that “men who have negative attitudes towards women are more likely to use violence, affecting not only the women for whom they have violated but also the children in their lives, families and the community at large.”
