[Brussels 15 May 2014] The German member organisation of the European Women’s Lobby, der Deutsche Frauenrat e.V., published today their call for vote ahead of the European elections next week.
The Deutscher Frauenrat therein highlights the importance of using the right to vote, in order to set the course for the European agenda for the coming 5 years. In times, when Eurosceptic and right-wing populist parties are predicted to gain especially high scores, it is even more important to vote for candidates and parties that speak out loud for human and women’s rights as well as gender equality.
