The EWL Secretariat, under the guidance of the Secretary General, carries out the yearly Work Programme
and provides essential support and information to EWL members. Our team of experts at the Secretariat is strategically located in Brussels, in close proximity to the European Institutions and other key stakeholders
at the European level.
This central position enables us to effectively engage with and advocate for gender equality in Europe.
The EWL Secretariat operates through distinct departments known as HUBS: The Policy and Campaign Hub, responsible for advocacy efforts; the Membership and Communications Hub, focused on engagement and outreach; the Programme Hub, overseeing initiatives and projects; and the Finance and Administration Hub, managing financial and administrative functions. This organisational structure allows for efficient coordination and execution of our mission towards gender equality.
