[Brussels, 16 December 2016] Join Full Circle & Julie Nelson on Thursday 12 January for an evening talk in Brussels on ‘Economics as if People Mattered’.
Julie Nelson is a leading feminist economist based at the University of Massachusetts, Boston, USA. Her work looks at gender biases in conventional economic, revealing pathways towards healthier understandings of economic life. Avoiding misleading bias, she rethinks the relationship between self-interest (often thought to be appropriate to the realm of homo economicus and commerce) and care (usually associated with women and non-economic activities).
