Jéromine joined the European Women’s Lobby (EWL) as a Policy and Campaign Officer in September 2021. She is responsible for the women in decision-making portfolio and is dedicated to advancing gender mainstreaming and gender budgeting in EU policies.

Prior to joining the EWL, she worked for 3 years in European Public Affairs for a Brussels’ based non-profit trade association where she co-created a niche online community of over 600 members and interned at UNESCO working on freedom of expression and journalists’ safety. A French national, Jéromine has a strong volunteering background supporting several organisations dedicated to migrants’ rights and WASH projects. In 2020, she joined Young Feminist Europe (YFE). As YFE’s Media Lead she is in charge of disseminating YFE’s position to the press and establishing relations with news outlets and social media influencers. She is also involved in YFE’s work on SRHR. She co-organised the event launching YFE’s period poverty campaign on IWD2021 in partnership with EU grassroot NGOs and students organisations. The campaign aims to create synergies between young European intersectional feminists working on period poverty and menstrual hygiene, highlight grassroots initiatives, help to collect data and raise awareness on the topic, and eventually build a young feminist movement around ending #tampontax and #periodpoverty.

She studied politics, international relations, and Spanish in Wales and holds a Masters degree in (International) Development Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Jéromine is passionate about combining her interest in politics with her desire to advance women’s rights.
