EWL’s Young Women’s Workshop

On 13 December 2022, the EWL will hold a one day workshop for and with young women. The workshop will take place online and offer participants an introduction into the work of the EWL, share with them the best practices and tips for advocacy on issues surrounding women’s rights, and lastly provide a venue for young women to share which topics they’d like to learn more about and which skills they wish to develop.
This session will serve as a starting point to develop an agenda and session plan for the next AGORA Summer School which will take place in person over several days in 2023.
Who are we looking for?
For this workshop, we are looking for applications from women from diverse backgrounds and experiences and with different affiliations to EWL members. The participants should be young women aged 18 to 30, either affiliated to an EWL member organisation, or completely new to the EWL with an interest in feminist activism and experience in young women’s engagement on a European level.
As an intersectional feminist organisation, we are committed to organising a workshop that reflects and includes experiences that represent Europe in all of its diversity. As such, women of colour and from ethnic minority groups, women with disabilities, from different socio-economic backgrounds, from a migrant background, from the LGBTQ+ community and coming from marginalised groups are especially encouraged to apply.
Practical information
The workshop will take place from 10h00 until 17h00 on Tuesday, 13 December 2022. Registered participants will receive a detailed agenda and a meeting link on Friday, 9 December 2022.
We will make every effort to ensure that the workshop is as inclusive and accessible as possible and will work with participants to understand and accommodate any special needs. Participants who may have special needs for online participation are invited to note so in their registration form and they will be contacted by the EWL staff before the workshop.
