Designed by the International Centre for Parliamentary Studies, this programme provides an in-depth examination of the key planning, organisational and legal issues necessary for producing and implementing effective strategies in migration management.
This programme challenges participants to situate migration management within a wider, global context, and consider the myriad of positive and negative attributes constituent of different migration policies. They will also examine the links between trends and statistics of migration, national security, climate change and development strategies, and their relation to migration strategy. Through discussions with some of the leading thinkers and professionals in the migration field, participants will gain an insight into issues of migration policy and management and the knowledge to plan, organise and development legislation and policy towards a sustainable future.
This is a specialist training course leading to a Level 7 Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Certificate in Strategic Management and Leadership. Upon completion of this week-long course and subsequent written tasks, the successful candidate will be awarded a Level 7 CMI certificate in Strategic Management & Leadership showing the CMI units achieved. In addition, the successful candidate will receive a transcript from the International Centre for Parliamentary Studies certifying the specialisation in Strategic Migration Management.
