- I pledge to stand for a world in which women can enjoy equal rights and full participation in every level of decision- making; in which women are free from all forms of oppression and women’s contribution to all aspects of life is recognised and rewarded.
- I commit to a real European democracy that assures equal representation for women and men in leadership and power and I will act to ensure that gender equality, women’s rights and sustainability must inform and underpin all areas of European policy-making.
- I acknowledge that women and girls’ rights are fundamental human rights and I regard achieving substantive equality between women and men as a priority of the European Union and its Member States.
- I affirm that the European Parliament and its Members have the power and responsibility to create meaningful change towards the full realisation of women’s rights, empowerment of women and girls and equality for all, now and in the future.
