Portugal - EWL members publish CEDAW shadow report
[Brussels, 17 August 2011] The EWL Coordination in Portugal, the Portuguese Platform for Women’s Rights, has published its shadow report prepared for the 42nd CEDAW Session, for the country report about Portugal.
The publication is composed of two parts: The main part contains the shadow report and the recommendations of the CEDAW Committee to Portugal and an explanatory interview with Regina Tavares da Silva, member of the Platform and ex-expert of the Committee. The leaflet has articles of CEDAW and photos of the women who contribute to the work of the Platform and the advancement of gender equality and women’s human rights in Portugal.
