Stefania (Stef) is a Junior Events Officer at the European Women’s Lobby. She is very passionate about building sisterhood and engaging others in diverse, meaningful and constructive discussions. She is involved in the development, organisation and management of EWL’s events to strengthen and extend the Lobby’s networks. She assists in the preparation of materials useful to the events and in the setup of logistics, and she also supports with the creation of events’ communications so that they are as accessible and engaging as possible.
Before joining EWL, Stef has worked as a Knowledge Management and Communications Trainee at the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE), completed a Masters in Gender and Media at the University of Sussex and, before that, successfully graduated at John Cabot University in English Literature and Communications. She has also finished her studies in Violin at the Conservatorio in Bari - the perfect lead-up to becoming a music nerd and a steady concert-goer.
Stef loves editing videos and writing papers on feminism, lesbian experiences, pop culture & music. She is engaged in activist work and is passionate about building spaces of solidarity and mutual help with other women. In her free time she also enjoys breaking a sweat at the gym, diving in the mosh pit at metal concerts, watching gothic horror movies (or k-pop music videos), trying new food (and drinks!) and casting spells while playing Dungeons and Dragons.
