Following our last week “Save the Date” message, I would like to remind you that the Spanish national alliance is organising an official presentation of EYCA recommendations “It’s about us, it’s about Europe!” in Madrid at Circulo de Bellas Artes. This event will take place on Monday 31st March 2014 (10.00 a.m. – 2 p.m.) and will gather local and national media, decision-makers as well as EYCA members. The presentation will be preceded by an internal meeting of the EYCA, in order to discuss the development of the Alliance and the outcomes of our last meetings (plenary on 20 February, Civil Society Day on 18 March).

10.00 – 12.00 EYCA internal meeting
1. Update on advocacy campaign and funding perspectives for 2014.
2. Exchange of views on the future of EYCA after 2014: objectives, organisation, functioning.
3. AOB.
12.00 – 12.30 Brunch break
12.30 – 14.00 Public presentation of EYCA recommendations in front of political figures and media.
I warmly invite you to take part in this meeting. To register, please fill the following questionnaire, before Monday 24th March 2014. Due to the limited number of places, we will proceed to registrations on a “first-come, first-serve” basis, which also means that only one representative per European network and National Alliance/initiative will be able to attend the event.
You will be contacted by the EYCA secretariat shortly after your pre-registration. In the meantime, we are kindly asking you not to engage any travel expenses before receiving your confirmation email.
For your information, the EYCA will be in possibility of reimbursing up to 300€ for travel expenses and will take in charge the accommodation for one night and the catering during the meeting. However, we won’t be in capacity of refunding public transportation and airport shuttles.
