The Women in Climate project, led by the European Women’s Lobby and implemented in partnership with organisations across six EU countries, has explored the intersections between gender equality and climate justice through research, consultations, capacity-building activities, and national dialogues. Bringing together women’s expertise, experiences, and recommendations, the project has contributed to strengthening the integration of a gender perspective into climate policies at both national and European levels.
This page gathers the key publications and policy resources produced throughout the project. Drawing on findings from surveys, webinars, national events, and stakeholder consultations, these documents provide evidence-based recommendations for advancing gender-responsive climate action and ensuring that women’s voices are fully represented in climate decision-making.
The publications highlight the gendered impacts of climate change, identify barriers to women’s participation and leadership, and propose concrete measures to support a fair, inclusive, and sustainable green transition. They are intended to support policymakers, civil society organisations, researchers, and advocates working to advance a feminist approach to climate and environmental policies.
