    It is with great sadness that EWL learned of the passing of Marie-Claude Vayssade on 11 November in France. Marie-Claude Vayssade was one of the first Presidents of la CLEF, EWL’s National Coordination in France, from 1994 to 2000, after having served as a member of the European Parliament from 1979 to 1994.
