Get Festive! Smash the patriarchy! #FundaFeminist!
[Brussels, 13 December 2017] This year, give your friends, family or the world a hopeful gift, by making a donation in their name to sponsor a young feminist activist’s participation in European Women’s Lobby’s AGORA 2018 Feminist Summer School!
For 20 euros, you can pay for the meals of a young activist for one day, for 50 you can house her for two nights, for 100 you can cover her transportation costs, for 250 you can fund her participation for half the week, and for 500 you can fully fund her entire experience! For 1,000 euros, you can become an #AGORAchampion and receive a special personal invitation to our June 2018 European Women’s Forum with the opportunity to meet our special guest (last year we had Gloria Steinem)!
AGORA is EWL’s ground-breaking week-long feminist activist summer school for 50 women under the age of 30 from all over Europe. 2018 will be our fourth year undertaking this life-changing experience, which has been named a Best Practice by the European Commission, and gotten rave reviews from participants!
For five days, brilliant and super motivated young activists gather in Brussels to organise, lead and co-create workshops, trainings and campaigns on key feminist issues- intersectionality, online violence, using new media, Roma inclusion, harassment, and many more. The summer school includes meetings with policy makers, interaction with EWL members and staff, heated debates, and amazing networking!
AGORA participants contribute what they can to cover their costs, but as most are students or recent graduates, we NEED YOUR HELP to make AGORA happen! Will you #FundaFeminist?
