Gender Equality must be at core of economic policies, says EWL President at Irish Presidency Conference

Cyprus: EWL members unveil outcomes of successful project Youth4Youth

(Brussels, 2 May) To mark the closing of the Daphne III project ‘Youth4Youth: Empowering Young People in Preventing Gender-based Violence through Peer Education’, which focused on developing and implementing strategies aiming at preventing gender-based violence among young people, MIGS is happy to make available the project results.

Cyprus: EWL members alert on Cypriot failure to transpose trafficking directive

(Nicosia, 30 April 2013) The Mediterranean Institute of Gender Studies (MIGS) is gravely concerned with the failure of the Cyprus Government to transpose the European Directive on Trafficking in Human Beings in its national legislation by the deadline of 6 April 2013. Signs of life from the Irish Presidency - more hope for the Maternity Leave Directive during the next Lithuanian semester?
